It is not far from A12 exit in 5 minutes, so you can walk by foot. There are also baskets. Personal recommendation is "toka noodles".
Closed from March 2 to 19 for renovations inside and outside the store
Nope.
Yes!
I didnt see any signage indicating it was halal. But understand most ramen soup bases are made from pork.
The ramen is fantastic! Good broth, nice chewy noodles, and quality meats. I ended up going twice on my 5 day trip to Tokyo!
Solid choice as always; Ippudo delivers, but there's a ton of other more interesting restaurants in the neighbourhood (check underneath the railroad tracks closer to Hibiya stn.) Broth was good, noodles are not very fresh unfortunately, cucumbers were nice and crunchy but heavy handed with the seasoning. Tons of foreigners dine here. Mix of westerners / Chinese mostly.
I loved my dinner. Got to sit at the bar looking into the busy kitchen. Delicious ramen loved by the locals, part of a chain. Ice cold draft beer a treat.
Such a great spot. I love the options for spice, level 8 was my jam. I also bordered the half order of dumplings to add to my ramen. The beer was my absolute favorite. I’ll be back.
Great service and ramen is just as good. Had Gyozas and stir fried bean sprouts with char shu pieces which were great sides. What is impressive is the Ippudo chain in Perth was of a similar standard so good to know they have consistency.
Good Ramen. Place goes to the point. Short menu, pretty fast service.

First meal in Japan. Great little restaurant. Lovely ramen. Friendly staff and good vibe. Worth the wait, even if there’s a line of people outside.
Staff speaks English. Ramen noodles and the broth are packed with flavor and the egg is cooked to perfection. Very fast service and everything was just so good
The best Ramen i had in Tokyo! Make sure you crush a garlic clove into your Ramen, adds so much to the dish
My favorite ramen place in all of Ginza. Try spicy level #8. You'll sweat like taking a test you didnt study for! Oishi.
I love this restaurant.Fast service and delicious food. The menu is in Japanese and in English. The staff were very kind and one of them speaks English. The broth was delicious with a nice amount of kick to it. I like that there is a selection of toppings and sides on the table.
One of the top ramen in Tokyo. Very flavourful broth.
This branch offers credit card payment unlike other locations. White one is authentic and its broth simmered well. Reopened on 20th Mar '20 after refurbishment fyi.
I've been to this location a couple of times for dinner. We arrived around 9pm and the wait was around 10 minutes on a Thursday. The service was quick. I ordered the Special Shiromaru Classic which is very good. Another person ordered the Special Ippudo Karaka which was more spicy (levels of spiciness are adjusted upon order) and it was good, I was expecting a larger kick. The tea was very tasty and refreshing. It worked well for a dinner after shopping in Ginza.
Delicious food, great service. Best ramen I've had.
Ramen pretty salty! Makes you very thirsty. In terms of taste it’s quite normal ... If you want top notch ramen please go to Hokkaido! Some staff are quite impatient and rude - not the attitude you were expecting given many stores here in Japan offer excellent customer service!
好åƒðŸ˜‹ä¸è²´ 店員通ä¸æ–‡ we ordered gyoza and ramen, very delicious. Staff speaks English and Mandarin Chinese’s. Clean and cozy toilet. Not crowded, great service. Side dishes are free. Tea is free. Great garlic side dish to be put into soup. Yum gyoza with gyoza tare sauce. Very reasonable price. Good experience. Good location.
Amazing Ramen. I have been to the one in SF and was a bit underwhelmed so was suspicious of this place. We arrived in Tokyo pretty late and this was one of the only spots open so we went for it and I was pleasantly surprised. The broth in both ramen options that we ordered were extremely flavorful. The noodles perfectly cooked and the service fast. The cucumber was amazing!
Very quick and nice tea providing to people queuing for the restaurant. Best to go before and after meal time to avoid a long queue
Don't let the long line outside discourage you. This place keeps everything moving super fast and you'll get your order almost the second you sit down. We went with two young toddlers and had no problems. Everything was delicious
Very good Ramen and fast, friendly staff but was charged for a beer I didn't order or drink which was disappointing. Realised later as Bill is in Japanese. May have been a mistake but beware.
This was the best ramen that I had when I visited Tokyo. I went multiple times because it was so good.
100% RECOMMENDED!!!!! Very tasty, super fast and restaurant looks nice... What more? Is a Must in Tokyo!!
After having visited Ippudo in other countries, it was great to finally try Ippudo in Japan. We arrived around dinner time, so there was a bit of a wait, but customers were able to scan the menu while waiting in line, and this helped to move things along quickly. Service was fast and friendly, the food was good, personally love the fresh garlic and condiments that we could help ourselves to. A personal note for large groups - we find that it is usually faster to be seated if we split up into smaller groups of 2-4.
Extremely well organized place. Food was very good and expedient service.
Good food, quite standard menu, nothing to be super impressed about
Loved the food and service here. This was pretty much the first meal we had in Tokyo and the ramen certainly did NOT disappoint us. Food tasted fantastic, loads of flavour. Plenty of local people in a tight setting. A short queue outside but to be expected, fast, efficient and great food. Give it a go!
Amazing place, short queue and the ramen oh boy! Nice variation of ramen with fresh ingredientsand the flavor is rich and as it is supposed to be. The service is fast and smiling and they deliver almost instantly worth to visit!
I went here for dinner, there was bit of a line but since this is a ramen restaurant people eat here fast and leave. Honestly I was glad I waited, the food was fantastic. I got gyoza and the pork ramen. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy ramen with rich broth and the pork was cooked to perfection. Customer service was great, staff speak enough English that you would be able to communicate with them. They also have English menu so makes ordering food much easier. If you go around peak lunch or dinner hours, expect to wait a bit but shouldn't be too long. What I also like about this restaurant is you can also buy a pack of their ramen to take home.
Definitely not the best ramen I ate in Japan. Ippudo is a ramen chain that exists not solely in Japan. If you are aiming for ramen you shouldn’t go there. Instead I would go to one of those small traditional places that serves ramen.
Set menu is good quality. Gyozas were good but the rice was so-so. Ramen is greasy as it ought to be but still delicious. Portions are quite large
Visited Ippudo while I was visiting Japan. Went there late in the afternoon, luckily I avoided the waiting line. The waiter was nice and welcoming. Had ramen with spicy sauce and egg. Loved it. There is free tra in the table. And of course went back once again.
Sat there for 20 minutes no one took my order so even as long to get me a beer. Everyone around me was getting fed and hydrated. So many better places all over Tokyo don’t bother with this ripoff
Stopped by for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Had a fantastic bowl of ramen and some beer. English-friendly menu and staff. Nice vibe and decor.
Amazing! Very organised and very welcoming of westerners.
Got the spiciest ramen dish and it was delicious and extremely, satisfyingly spicy. Probably the spiciest dish I've ever had.
The ramen here is just really REALLY good. The restaurant was near my hotel and I ended up eating ramen there for 4 days straight. The menu is small, but the service is excellent and the beer comes in some pretty cool cups!
Quick ramen place in Ginza. Nice gyoza too.
There are many foreigner visitors, you need to wait for few minutes sometimes. But it tastes not bad, and the dumplings are really good! It’s not bad to eat if you just passing by.
Best ramen we’ve had in Japan so far! The broth was excellent. Would highly recommend the chili garlic oil and the spicy meat miso to add unbelievable flavor.
Great Ramen... Friendly service. The way they greet, thanks customers is awesome.
Fresh, hot, friendly. Handled 5 person group easily. Often a line, but it moves quickly, and they take food order in the line, so fast service once seated.
Wonderful broths, excellent chew to the noodles, and perfect soft boiled egg. I love that at the table there's fresh garlic you can press on your own as well as delicious bean sprouts that are fresh! Service was fast (Saturday night) because they took orders while you wait in line. The staff were upbeat and pleasant.
Fast service and delicious food. The menu is in Japanese, but some of the staff speak English. They were very kind and picked a meal for me from the menu. The broth was delicious with a nice amount of kick to it. I like that there is a selection of toppings and sides on the table.I would recommend this place, after having visited Ippudo in New York and Malaysia. It’s delicious here!
I had way better ramen in the states. The service was ok but the chicken ramen was very saltly. Ask the waiter for a new one or exchange for a different noodle but they didn't let me. All the chef did was add hot water to dilute an salty non flavorful dish. So you can image the taste after he put 2 cups of hot water(it was still very salty). No flavor and the place does not care for their custom. I would just save the trip and go 5 mins away to Rokurinsha- It will be the best ramen you'll have in Tokyo I guarantee it!
Great ramen. Best ramen i had in ginza. I took the 8 spices and it was very spicy but delicious
So you heard the name Ippudo before and people told you it’s great, but please for the love of god don’t go to it in Japan, specifically to the one in Ginza. We had Ippudo in NYC before and yeah it was nice, but compared to any other local ramen this is just disgraceful. The service was horrible, the place was a mess and it didn’t seem like they are even happy to have customers. The flavor was mediocre and the appetizers were almost insulting. The lettuce I got was rotten and the table looked even worse. I would not go back nor recommend and I will reconsider not going to it in NYC as well.
Very welcoming staff! My wife and I arrived after a long day of traveling and sluped up some excellent ramen. I think the wait staff was surprised we finished our bowls and knew a little about ramen etiquette. They gave us two boxes of instant ramen to take home!
I've tried a lot of ramen in Japan and I feel like this one is my least favorite. Considering this is a famous brand in Japan I am quite disappointed. It could be just mine and my friend ramen at the time.
